If this resonates with you, you might just be the person we need to help shape the future of football in an extraordinary way.

Main Responsibilities

You would be essential in monitoring the industry news, promoting Fair Game initiatives via our social channels and helping us respond to any queries quickly and efficiently. You will be responsible for the following tasks:

●        Oversee the curation and delivery of a social media content plan that includes a calendar of proactive content ideas and campaigns that aligns with key aims and ambitions of Fair Game and our partners.

●        Work with communications colleagues, other members of the social team and designers to produce high quality, engaging content, including short-form video, for a range of audiences.

●        Highlight the great work done throughout the organisation to relevant social audiences.

●        Contribute to and help shape our social media strategy, shaping our approach and bringing best practice to our social media initiatives.

●        Respond to online conversations in an efficient, professional and engaging manner.

●        Work closely with the social media team to ensure that Fair Game is engaging and reacting to women’s football stories breaking online.

To attend weekly or fortnightly meetings with the Director of Communications and Campaigns and the Head of Communications.

What You'll Need To Bring

  ●        You will likely be a football fan, with your finger on the pulse of what is going on in the game, from player’s welfare to fan engagement.

●        Experience of using social media scheduling and monitoring software, such as Buffer.

●        Strong understanding of all social media channels and how best to utilise them to enhance the Fair Game brand, enhance the profile of the organisation and our partners and amplify our key messages.

●        A creative mindset with an eye for engaging short-form video content and an understanding of the target audience for this content and how best to engage with them.

●        Excellent writing skills.

●        A passion for social media and recent, relevant experience managing social media for an exciting brand or organisation.

●        A strategic mindset and the ability to think on your feet.

●        An excellent sense of what will get people talking online.

●        Excellent sub-editing and proofing skills.

●        Excellent interpersonal skills.

●        Attention to detail.

●        A commitment to Fair Game’s values.

A passion to change football for the better

What You Will Gain

●        A chance to put your stamp on our social presence, try new things and engage our diverse audiences.

●        Firsthand experience of content creation for social media for a fantastic, forthright brand on a real mission.
